Does NT support VXN with IB?

Hi,

Does NT support the volatility index VXN through the IB feed? I get an error saying that the security definition is not found. I had to do something funny to get RUT to work with IB: RUT|RUSSELL. I'm wondering if it the same thing with VXN. Any help in how to set up the instrument in NT would be helpful.

Are you looking for the Futures Index or the actual Index?

Just the actual Index.

This index should be supported as long as you have real-time access to it in IB.

Please make sure you have selected the exchange that is displayed in TWS.

You may need to use custom mapping to get the data routed the exchange:

VXN|CBOE
