Charts are completely blank....

Hi. I installed Ninja Trader Free quite some time ago and had this issue so I simply didn't even bother trying to use the platform.

However, now I am actually needing to use it, and the issue still persists, so I'm really hoping someone can help me.

I open Ninja Trader... fine.... I connect to Kinetic... fine... it says kinetic....

However, when I try to bring up a chart (ESZ2, for example... the 12/12 contract) I simply get a blank chart.... not candles... nothing. Just a big white page with some tools at the top (time frame, type of chart, pencil, etc) and the NinjaTrader copyright logo at the bottom.

Can someone please tell me what is wrong here?

Are you connecting to the Kinetick End Of Day feed?

If so, please set the chart to a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly time frame.

The Kinetick EOD connection provides access to historical daily data only, allowing you to access Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly data for free.

Ahhh.... ok. Well that makes sense.

Quick sort of related/unrelated question: Does leasing the $50 version of NInja Trader include the Kinetic connection, or is that an additional $50 per month (totalling $100 per month for Ninja and a connection)?

Live Kinetick service is not included with a live NinjaTrader license - the data service would come at an additional cost.
