Adding the QQQ's and the SPY's to charts

I've tried to chart the spys and qqqs and NT will not allow me to whatch what the market is doing? for some reason it dosen't recongnize they sysmbols and I'm not sure how to add them to the instrument manager.

Can you please tell me to what data feed provider you connect in NinjaTrader.

Do you see any error messages in the Control Center-->Log-tab?

Yes there is an error that says unable to subscribe to the market data.. please asign an addition exchange to this instrument in the instrumnet manager spy dfault

and I have IB as data feed

Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager, highlight the QQQ or SPY and click Edit. Make sure the Default exchange and the exchange where they are traded on are enabled.

Subsequently remove and re-add the QQQ and SPY to your instrument list. Instructions can be found at the link below.

Create a new chart and check if the error remains.

Can you please perform the steps of post #4. Use the Nasdaq exchange for the QQQ and use the Arca exchange for the SPY.
