    NT8 will also be unable to offer hedging for forex. This publicly available link can partially explain the situation, but in brief, any trading solution will have to operate differently in the U.S. than in other markets.

        There are technical and legal challenges offering the same platform to U.S. and non-U.S. customers that surround this issue.

          Yes, I suspected as much.

          Witness the main differences between MT4 and MT5.

          I presume this is (one reason) why MT4 (which did not enforce US restrictions on hedging) continues to thrive, esp among their non-US customers.

            I have submitted a feature request to the product management team for the following feature :


            This customer would like the ability to hedge forex accounts outside of the U.S.


            I will follow up with more information as soon as it's available. If the feature requests already exists, a vote will be added to it.

                Renko Bar Indicator

                Hi,

                I try to build a strategy base on Renko, but it's not listed in indicators.
                Does anyone know how to use Renko as indicator?

                  Renko is not an indicator. It is a BarType.

                    So that your questions may benefit others who have similar questions to yours, please start a new thread for a new topic. In order to use Renko bars, you may use this procedure.

                    • In a chart, press ctrl + f
                    • In the upper right, set the bar type to Renko
                    • In the lower left, press OK
