CQG vs. Zen-Fire datafeed

Hello all!

I have backtested my strategy being on Zen-Fire datafeed and got good results.
After it I have tested it on CQG datafeed and got extremly different result.
All other settings were the same.

Please, explain me the reason of it?
One Exchange, one future - but different data.

There is the truth?

In this case what datafeed brings more clear data?
If I otimized my stragery on Zen-Fire datafeed, should I use it for real-time stragery?

Hello,

Thanks for the post.

Different data feed providers can have varying amounts of historical data access back in time, furthermore historical providers have different historical data servers.

I would not be able to speculate as to why your results would be different, you would need to analyze the differences in data if you suspect data differences to come to a conclusion.
