plot futures data from kinetics

Hello NT staff,

Tried to plot futures end-of-day data from kinetics but could not get it. For example, ES's symbol for kinetics is @ES. I typed @es into the chart and got nothing. No problen in getting in fx and stock data, though.

Any idea?

Thanks Jason. Follwoing the same naming convention, I found some can be loaded; some are not.

The symbols loaded:
grains (ZR, ZM, ZL, ZS, ZW, ZC);
indices (ES, NQ, YM);
Energy (CL, QM, NG);
Interest rate (ZN, ZB, ZF);
Currency (6A, etc.). Micro futures like M6A won't.

The symbols not loaded:
Other agriculture contracts like softs and live stocks;
all metal;
All micro currency contracts.

I have tried the symbols on kinetics web site. none of them works.

Can you please disconnect Kinetick and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Restart NinjaTrader and check if you load data.

If the issue remains, please tell me what NinjaTrader version you have installed. You can check this at Control Center-->Help-->About (7.0.1000.X).

Just reset instrument manager and re-started NT7. All missing instruments now can be laoded - propress. thanks,

However, all the newly loaded symbols that were not be able prior to reset share one common problem: the daily data has missing bars. See if you have any idea on that one.

My NT version: 7.0.1000.10. I am using IB so it not the latest version but close enough.

Does it make a difference if you right click in the chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'?

If the issue remains, please post a screenshot of a chart that has missing data.

In all cases that have misisng bars, reload historical data does not make difference. I attached CC 09-12 data for your review.

What time zone are you located in? What time zone is your PC clock set to?

Do you only see this when using IB? If you connect to Kinetick End of Day and right click on the chart and select reload all historical data, do you have these missing bars?

I am central and my PC is set on central. This problem only relates to kinetics end-of-day. It does not occurs to IB.

We have checked with Kinetick and the settlement price is outside of the OHLC. As a result these bars are filtered by NinjaTrader.
