Unable to get sp500 data from IB

Hi, starting this morning I could not get real time SP500 index data from IB anymore. The message is "Error on loading chart data for 'SP500 Cboe'. Historical Market Data Service error message: No market data permissions for CBOD IND"

I do have the data permission for SP500 and it worked find until today. Has anyone encountered the same problem or have a solution?

Hello,

When you load SP500 in TWS, does it say CBOE IND as the exchange?

In TWS, do you have real-time data, or does it say that market data is delayed?

Yes, CBOE is still the exchange. And I do have real time SP500 data in TWS. I just noticed IB changed the data format of SP500 from ####.## to ####.##0. So I went to instrument manager and changed the format but the problem remains.

BTW, I am using 7.0.1000.9

Checking IB, I still see SPX Index with the tick size as ####.##

Can you please send a screen shot of TWS with the tick size formatted like this?

Hi Matthew,
I just updated the TWS to the latest version and the problem was gone! Still not sure what caused the problem but thankfully I can focus on my trade again. Thanks for being so patient and trying to help me solve the problem.
