Session manager question

Hello,

I have a question about the session manager. Say I declare a session to start at the regular trading hours (9:30 am eastern time). I have my session set to record for market replay. I actually start my connection at say 9:00 am. Will the ticks be recorded when the connection starts, or when the session starts ?

Hello csmith87,

You will record Market Replay data as soon as you receive real-time data in any NinjaTrader window (chart, SuperDOM, Market Analyzer, etc).

If you only have this chart opened in NinjaTrader, you will not record Market Replay data until 9:30 AM - when the chart receives real-time data.

However if you have the same instrument loaded in a SuperDOM and you receive real-time data at 9:00 AM, you will record Market Replay data as well.
