ES Dec Contract Rollover

I opened up the instrument manager and added the 12-12 ES contract. When I create a new chart and add the 12-12 ES contract the resulting chart is actually the 9-12 ES contract data. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Hello rc5781,

NinjaTrader is not set to move to the 12-12 contract until tomorrow morning which is why you are seeing the 09-12 contract month.

If you would like to see the 12-12 contract before the roll over date you can change the merge policy by going to the Control Center -> Tools -> Options -> Data tab then set the Merge Policy to 'DoNotMerge', and press OK.

Please note after tomorrow you can set the merge policy back to "MergeBackAdjusted" and view as normal.
