CQG Logging on error

When I try to log onto CQG Demo I get the error as per attachment.
Suggestions appreciated

The error message you are receiving usually means that the CQG DLL was not updated or installed correctly, most likely due to having NinjaTrader running while updating/installing. A simple uninstall and reinstall should resolve the situation:

Please follow the steps listed below to uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:

1. Close all running applications.
2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
4. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:

Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

Upgrading

Thank you. Problem solved. When upgrading to a new version is it best to uninstall as you have documented or just install over the top. I am currently trialling FXCM. Is it OK to update to version 11 and then update to the modified version when the fix for IB is complete as I also use IB

I am happy to hear that the uninstall and reinstall has resolved the situation.


When installing a new version you may simply install over the top of your current install.

You should be fine installing release 11 now, and then upgrading to a later release once we have this update available for IB.
