    BarsSinceExit

    As part of an entry condition I'm using "BarsSinceExit() == -1" for the case that I'm in the first trade of the day, as the Help file says BarsSinceExit() should return a -1 if no exit has occured.

    I used a print statement to debug my current strategy (running in sim mode) and when the first trade opened the print statement showed the BarsSinceExit() value as 2077.

    Where does this erroneous number come from and how can I get the -1 value for the condition of no previous exits?

    Thanks,

    Safetrading

    Hello,

    This value will return on historical orders as well.

    If you would like this to only work on real-time orders, you can use if(Historical) return;
