The 16:30 bar on 30min stock charts

Hi,

I'm noticing on the 30min charts a bar with a timestamp of 16:30 on my stocks with the Kinetick data feed. Does this mean it's showing me after market trading prices, or does it have something to do with my computer's system time being different than the time of the kinetick server making the bars divide off in odd amounts?

Hello RunnrX,

Please note that NinjaTrader timestamps its price bars at the closing time. So the 16:30 bar contains data between 16:00:00 up to 16:29:59.

That's right, it would be any data between 16:00 to 16:29.29 -- however, I'm used to the market data stopping at 4pm for stocks. So I didn't know where this 16:00 - 16:29 data was coming from, if it was aftermarket data being shown on my charts.. I just changed the chart to 5min and I see that there are 3 scattered bars after 16:00 so I'm guessing that's it, I just have aftermarket data showing -- thanks!

Yes, this is after market data you display.
