    Gc 12

Having trouble with GC data. 240 Min, 60 Min and 5 Min charts just show a dot per time frame. This just happened. The daily and weekly charts are just fine. The dome is working fine as well All other instruments...ES, CL, 6E, NQ work just fine on the same time frames.

I checked with my broker and he said data is flowing good.

Any ideas of what could be wrong? Thanks

    Hello TPCMAN,

    Thank you for your note.

So I may investigate this matter further please answer a few questions.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

What expiry are you viewing for the GC? (Example: 10-12)

Please also attach a screenshot of your GC chart to your response to this thread.

To take a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to this thread.

I look forward to assisting you further.

        Hello TPCMAN,

        Thank you for your response.

Please go to Tools > Options > Data > Merge Policy, is the Merge Policy set to MergeBackAdjusted?

If so, please close the Options window > then go to Tools > Instrument Manager > search for the GC instrument > left click on the GC instrument > then left click on Edit > once the Instrument Editor window loads please go to the Misc tab > scroll down to the bottom of the Misc tab > left click on Contract Months > then left click on the '...' button > once the Contract Months window opens please left click on the 12-12 contract > then select the Rollover Date > change to August 1, 2012 > OK > OK > OK.

Once complete please right click in your GC 12-12 chart > select Reload All Historical Data.

Please let me know if this resolves this matter for you.
