Disconnect and reconnect live DOM starts

I have "start in simulation" selected, however if I disconnect, not close, Ninjatrader makes the DOM live.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    Thank you for your post.

If you were to disconnect from all data providers, the SuperDOM would show a live background color. However, there would be no way to submit a live order as the connection to your broker is severed already.

      Hi Kyle
Sorry I did not make my issue clear. I am using Static Dom and the problem happens when I reconnect.
      Thank you

            Hello,

Simply switching between workspaces should not cause Global Simulation Mode to become disabled.

Please contact me with a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com.

            In the note, please include:
1.) A link to this forum thread.

            2.) A copy of today's trace file.
You'll find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
I'll need the file which is named 'trace.20120827.txt'.

              Hello,

1.) I'd recommend removing the file you'd posted to our public forum as it inlcudes some information which you'd not want to be made public.

2.) Global Simulation Mode is a global setting which is not tied to a workspace. If you were to disable global simulation mode and then move to another workspace, you would find that global simulation mode is still disabled.
