License for Laptop

I currently own a license for Ninjatrader for my main computer.

Is this license available to use for a Laptop when travelling?

Hello Pedro,
Thank you for your note.

You will be able to use the same NinjaTrader license key on both computers as long as you are only running one installation of NinjaTrader at a time. If you wish to trade live on two separate computers simultaneously, you will have to use two separate Live License Keys, otherwise you could be in violation of the End User License Agreement (EULA) which may potentially lead to subscription or license termination.

Joydeep...can you explain further how one uses the same NinjaTrader license key on both computers?

I thought the MachineID necessary for a live-trading NT installation to function prevented that?

Hello Pedro,
NinjaTrader parse do not need the Machine Id. You can simply install NinjaTrader to your laptop and use the backup and restore feature to restore the settings/workspace etc.

If you are using any 3rd party NinjaScript codes then that NinjaScript code may be locked in to a particular PC. In such case you have to contact the 3rd party vendor and seek additional license (for the NinjaScript code) for your Laptop.
