Increase Order Amount Of Running Strategy

Hello,

What is the best way to manually increase the order amount in a strategy without losing sync with the live account or creating unnecessary transactions?

ie:
disable strategy
change strategy default amount
enable strategy

I want the amount to change on the next position zero cross after it is changed, but any existing position to be left untouched until then.

Hello pmcgoohan,

Unfortunately you will need to disable the strategy to change the order quantity. It is not possible to change it and keep the strategy running. When disabling/re-enabling the strategy, the strategy will behave as per the settings at Options-->Strategies-->NinjaScript-tab. More information can be found at the link below.

Yes I've seen that link, and ordinarily I would run the system on:

Wait until flat before executing live, Sync account position = true

But if I do that having increased the strategy Amount, wom't the sync account position immediately submit an order to meet the inceased amount (which I don't want because I want it to wait until zero cross).

On the other hand, if I set Sync account to false, the strategy wont take the exsiting position into account at all.

How can I tell the system to change the amount settings on the next zero cross, but not immediately on startup?

Unfortunately this is not supported using the settings in the Options menu. You need to wait for a flat state and subsequently change the order quantity.
