Number of days evaluated

Hello,
I am trying to test a strategy with the SA where the Start and End dates are defined as 6/1/12 to 8/3/12. I have SA set to use a 30 Minute chart. However, when I run the strategy it only appears to be showing activity for the dates 6/20-6/25. Have I missed something in the setup of the Strategy Analyzer?

What instrument are you backtesting on here? Are you currently connected to your data provider when you run this backtest?

I am testing ES 9/12 and I am connected to Kinetick end of day while running the backtest.

Ron,

With Kinetick EOD, it would only offer daily data. So if you are trying to backtest on a 30 minute chart, the Strategy Analyzer would only have access to any saved historical data on your PC. The Strategy Analyzer can download data from your connection provider if it doesn't have it saved locally on your PC, but with Kinetick EOD it wouldn't be able to do this except on daily charts. Most likely this is causing your issue here.
