    Historical Data

    .........has suddenly disappeared.

    In my database there should be YM (& other data since 20/02/07) & this has been working OK until today. Just tried back testing a strategy & the only data loaded is for the past 4-5 months. Any idea where the missing data has gone?

    I have tried reloading the historical data & shut down/re-opened NT, but to no avail.

    Any ideas?

    Likely data is associated to YM trading on Globex and not CME. You will need to add back an instrument for YM Globex then export historical data for the missing data and import it into the instrment with CME.

      I assume you mean data is associated to YM trading on CME and not Globex.
      So do I need to do the following.

      1/ add back instrument for YM on CME.
      2/ export 'missing' data from database.
      3/ import data into YM on Globex.

      pls could you confirm.

            Hi, Everyone!

            I am just using Ninjatrader without any brokerage, so no realtime data. But I would like to test some strategies in multi time frames. How can I get intraday data without paying for them? For example on yahoo.finance.com I can see everything on a 5min chart!
            I would like to do that but in Ninjatrader. It also has yahoo data support, but it simply does not data lower than a day.

            If delayed data is possible that would also do the job, but if I can only see 5min chart of for example MSFT from last week that is also good!

            I would just need intraday data, downloadable or whatever to test. Can you help me?

                Thank you. I have set up an account, did the set up in ninjatrader but still cant view intraday data. It starts loading the data but it never loads so I have to abort it.

                What can be the problem?

                      As Jessica mentioned, it is an issue over on OpenTick's servers. Please contact them for their status report on the issue.
