connecting to ameritrade, symbol is /dx in ameritrade. Not pulling up though? DX alone pulls up something other than us dollar index. usd not working either

Hello,

The DX is a futures contract and TDA does not provide futures data to NinjaTrader. I do not currently have access to a TDA account for this type of data to test, however looking through their symbol guide there are a few other options for you.

Since TDA only supplies Equities and Index data to NinjaTrader, please try

$USDX.X

Only thing remotely similar I got to pull up was USDX but no data came up

What do you mean that you got it to pull up but no data came up?

Is this to say you got last price, but no historical information?

Are you setting this up as Future or Index?

Just trying to get the index. Went to File ->New ->Chart typed in $USDX.X nothing..typed in USDX it popped up in box below, hit ok, chart comes up but no data at all in chart. Tried all time frames.

ThinkorSwim is NOT TDA still.

TDA will be offering futures/forex quotes in the future for both green/orange accounts.

UUP is the tradeable ETF.
