Bools current vs past

Is there a way to define a bool to time? Usually you just ask the question "is this bool true now". But I need a condition that says "what was the state of a bool ABarAgo".

If (bool1[1])
do something;
...I know this will not work...Cannot apply indexing with [] to an expression of type 'bool'

Or does the bool just need to be created referenced to ABarAgo?
