Multiple connection and historical tick data

Hi,

Assume I have Patsystems connected first and eSignal second.
Patsystems only provides the real time data for futures.

So if I have my chart open for a couple of days then the real-time data from Pats will be saved on disk to become historical data.

If I open my chart next day (and assuming that saved data in repository is complete) then where from would I get the historical data?
a) from the saved Patsystems data in repository
or
b) the historical data would be requested from eSignal

and the additional question:
if on next day I connect only to eSignal (with Pats disconnected), where from the historical data will be taken in this case:
a) from the saved Patsystems data in repository
or
b) the historical data would be requested from eSignal

Thank you for your post.

In both cases, data will be reloaded from the eSignal connection. If any part of a data set is not already loaded, (and data would not be fully up to date if NinjaTrader had been shut down) data is reloaded from the data provider assuming that provider offers historical data.
