Basic Trailing Stop (non-tightening)

How do you setup a basic non-tightening trailing stop? Auto Trail appears to always tighten. Is Chase the right construct? I'm just looking for a stop that trails along behind the price at the same interval, and that allows me to adjust it on the chart.

Thank you for your post.

In order to setup a Trailing Stop that does not tighten as you get additional profit in your trade you will want to use a 1 Step Auto Trail. Keep in mind if you want the Stop Loss to follow the current price as it moves you will want to use a Frequency of 1.

I tried that, but it kept tightening. I'm sure it's a setup issue. Just not sure what.

Can you please attach a screen shot of the Stop Strategy you have configured within NinjaTrader so I can see the settings applied.
