Kinetick Not Connected But Thinks It Is

Hello,

I am having problems with NT live and Kinetick.

Kinetick sometimes disconnects without realizing it. ie: data stops coming in despite the log believing it to be connected.

It is very obvious that this is happening (if you are watching) because:
- the charts stop updating
- the realtime strategies miss trades that they do not when backtesting the same period
- the Bid/Ask/Last fields on the orders tab stop updating

BUT Kinetick is still green and 'connected' in the status bar and there are no bad log messages

I have just missed out closing a trade and lost money because of it so I am very keen to find a solution, and this is not the first time it has happened.

It may be similar to the problem which no solution has yet been posted for http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...light=kinetick

To further review the source of this issue can you please send an email to support[at]kinetick[dot]com.

When sending that email please include your log and trace diagnostic files so that we can review those items for a detailed review of the cause.

Please provide me with your most current log and trace files.
You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

• The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

• The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"
