Yahoo EOD Day Data Loading Issue

Guys,

I am trying to load Yahoo EOD data DJIA. I get this error -"Error loading chart data for "DJIANYSE". Failed to retrieve data from Yahoo".

I have had not problems in the past. However now it won't work. I downloaded and installed the latest version hoping that would solve this challenge. No luck.

I appreciate any advice.

Hello Jim,

Unfortunately Yahoo only provides Equities data at this time within NinjaTrader. I have provided a link below to the data providers supported by NinjaTrader. This page will go over the types of data they offer as well as the instruments they support. In order to receive data for the DJIA instrument you would be required to connect to a provider that supports Indecies.

The Kinetick EOD feed will provide daily data for the DJIA.

The Free EOD Kinetick connection is preloaded in to NinjaTrader 7 automatically. You can connect to it by going in NinjaTrader to > File > Connect > Kinetick - End of Day (free). This connection will give you access to historical Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly data.
