Market Profile

Hi ,

Market Profile is nice indicator . I found very good video on Big Mike forum about it ,
Information what I still missing is ,OPEN HOUR&MINUTE and Session length Hours.
I don't know , if use it with 14:30 ; 8 hour session length or some different time.
I trade YM ; UTC London.

Can anybody help me whit this ?

Thanks for the forum post.

Unfortunately I do not understand your question. We dont have market profile built into NinjaTrader so I will be of limited help unfortunately you may need to get assistance from the indicator developer on this if it is an indicator specific question.

I may be able to point you in the right direction if you can clarify what you are trying to do and specifically what is not working.

Hi Brett,

Its not surprise for me .My English is poor. I will try explain in my way.

I have imarket profile (not supported NT) as u know , and I can't find information , how to adjust time.
In indicator option is setting for Time. There is parameter for "Open Hour" ; for "Open minute" and session length Hours. Its mean , how long should calculate MP levels. Is Open hour when markets open , or when is night session over ? 13:30 is my setting , but probably not correct. If u know answer , I will be very happy !

No problem thanks for the re clarify.

Yes this sets the begin and end time for the regular and overnight sessions in the indicator itself in the indicator properties you took a screenshot of.

However you need to have the data in the first place so you need to right click on the chart->data series-> and select an appropriate session template from here first.

I really like this indicator . However , for some reason it will not allow me to change the RTH session below 700?? I live on the west coast and when I change it to 630 it goes blank.

If I cannot get it @ market open it does me no good.

Thank you for your post.

If you'll make the change in session template before the market opens you should not see the same loss of data.
