Sharing Workspaces

What is the procedure to import someone else's workspace?

I have the file, but the workspace in question came from a 4 monitor computer and I'm putting it on 2 monitor. Is that okay? Also, do I need to have Ninja closed or restart Ninja in order to open it.

Thank you for your post.

To add a workspace:

• Shut down NinjaTrader.
• Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Workspaces folder and add the file you've been sent.
• Restart NinjaTrader and open the workspace via the File > Workspaces > Open Workspace menu.

Workspaces do hold their original window position regardless of monitor changes. In your case, this means that some windows may be hidden as they are set to display in areas where no monitor exists.

You may move windows to the main monitor by right clicking on the window within the Windows Task Bar near the bottom of the screen - you'll then need to select the Move option and click the left arrow key on your keyboard. This will move the selected window to your main monitor allowing you to reposition the window.
