Rollover

If I look at crude oil in the instrument manager, i use the contract 08-12 and it says
rollover date 2012-06-19, wich is quite some time ago, is the rollover date when i should change to this specific month? Like 09-12 it says rollover date 2012-07-19 wich is soon, is 2012-07-19 the day i should change to 10-12 or is 2012-07-19 when i should start using the 09-12 contracts??

Hello LindqvistBrothers,
The current contract for CL is the August future (CL 08-12). You will have to rollover on the 19th to the September future contracts (CL 09-12).
