    charts not loading error message

    Looking for support. None of my charts will load. Get message error loading chart data....response too short.

    Normally I can fix this by reloading historical data refresh ninja, but not working this time.

    Hi kevinhenjum,

    This is a message from the TDA adapter, that you're requesting more data than they are providing. You may need to reduce the amount of historical data you're requesting, through chart's right click > Data series screen. This amount can also vary from server to server, so sometimes a disconnect / reconnect will help and allow the request to come through.

      I am only loading 5 days data on 5 min chart same as I have for last 2 years. I have disconnected, reconnected, and installed backup with same result. I must have corrput data somewhere.

        I can get it to load a daily chart on simulation but not 5 min or 1 min charts. The minute I try to connect to a live feed, I get the data loading error.

          Thanks for reply. It doesn't sound like the data request is excessive by any means. Would you please send your diagnostic files to us so we can check into this. You can do this from the control center > Help menu > mail to support. Include a link to this thread:

            Ninja default email wants to open with outlook which I dont have. Is there a different way to attach through my normal email? Which files do you need?

              Yes, you can attach manually this file. Send a note to support 'at' ninjatrader 'dot' com

              You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

              The trace file will be named "trace.20120706.txt"
