    Importing Non Existent Instrument

    Hello,

    I need a historic COMP index with volume, with seems not to be supported by any of the data provier. Thats the reason why I created a historic data file and would like to import it to a self created instument called ^COMPVOL1. The import works fine but I can't use the instrument withhin a chart, because there is - of course - no data provider for that instrument. Is there no charting or backtesting support based on pure historic data in NT?

    Hello Thomas,

    You should be able to plot the data in charts or use it in backtests while not connected to any data feed provider. Can you please check if you see the data while not connected.
