Show Multiple Instruments in Backtest

Hello,

If there is a good post on this already, please redirect. I am running a strategy that incorporates multiple instruments(spread trade taking positions in two instruments). I can show these on a standard chart, but when backtesting, the charted results only show the primary instrument. How can I chart the second instrument on the backtest for a better visual to see the the trades it is taking in both instruments?

Hi Aaron, this would be unfortunately expected in the Strategy Analyzer when adding series programmatically, it would only visualize the primary one. Providing more flexibility here in on our feedback list in product management for future consideration, I've added your vote / request for it in.

It is still on our list for future considerations but will most likely not be changed inside of NinjaTrader 7. This may change in our next major release of NinjaTrader as it is currently in development. I will add your vote to this feature as well.

This is already possible with NinjaTrader 8. While this is not possible in NinjaTrader 7, we no longer implement new features into NinjaTrader 7. We only actively develop new features for NinjaTrader 8 at this point.

nope, not the same as first post. I want to test a strategy with 2 different series, one on NQ and one on ES, and combine the results.
