Wont display historical chart

Hi There

I have data for FGBL from 2000 to 2010. It is located in User > Dropbox > Ninjatrader 7 > db > tick

When I try and pull up a new chart nothing is displayed despite me going back enough days.

Which contract expiry do you load here? Do you load a tick or time based chart in your setup?

What merging settings do you use for the FGBL contract in your Instrument Manager?

loading FGBL 09-10 120min chart 3000 days back from today. FGBL is set to merge nonback adj.

Thanks, so would a FGBL 09-12 tick chart work for you? Time based charts would require historical minute data to be available, which is not the case now in your setup.

OK ive got it now, switched to tick chart and all is good, have a chart from 2000 to 2010 which is what I wanted thx. Would NT not construct minute charts from Tick charts?

Glad to hear, no per default it would not take the tick based data and construct minute bars, this is only an option when you import historical data with our Historical Data Manager -
