Donchian Channel issue???

Is there a way to detect when a price has bounced off either the lower or upper Donchian band? Thank you

Yes, but you will need to define for you what a bounce then should be - for example a close below the channel and then a subsequent close above on the next bar? Or do you simply try to enter with a limit order at the lower channel if the price has advanced more than x ticks beyond it, so you're filled on a retest...for all those approaches : what might be visually an easy 'it bounced off this #', might be more challenging to correctly program, so you're getting the fills expected.
