Cannot see GC prices in Ninjatrader

I have subscribed to gold futures market data on TWS (version 921) and I do see live prices on it

But when i add GC 08-12 (and all other months of 2012 for that matter) to my Market Analyzer in NT, I can't see any prices. I tried to download historical data on GC and i receive a "Error on reloading data: Historical Market Data Service error message; no market data permissions for NYMEX FUT (Panic)" message

any help?

It may be the case that you are only subscribed to delayed data in TWS for Nymex products.

In TWS menu bar goto Accounts>Market Data Subscription Manager and please make sure you are subscribed to realtime data for Nymex products.

In the market data subscription manager, i'm subscribed to the "US Bundle", which according to IB should include GC live quotes - i've checked with another source as well and the price I'm seeing for GC 08-12 is indeed live

anyway, even if I were subscribed to delayed data I should nonetheless see something in Ninjatrader instead of blanks, no?

Please append Attn:Joydeep in the subject line of the email and give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

• You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
• The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

• You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
• The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

The YYYY is the year, the MM is the month, and the DD is the date.
