Multi-timeframe strategy and charts

I have a multi-timeframe strategy that uses both Range Bars (BarsInProgress = 0) and 1-second bars (BarsInProgress = 1).
When I run the strategy in Sim, I load it on the Range Bar chart.
Do I also need to at least open a 1-second chart?
Or can the strategy calculate the 1-second bars without a 1-second chart needing to be open?

AnotherTrader, the strategy will add the series internally for it's calculations. Only when you would want to reload data, it would be advisable to open the embedded series as well, as the strategy would not reload it's internal series automatically (known limitation for the time being).
