Historical and live data - IB and IQFeed

We have running many strategies, as a broker acc we use IB - but there is a problem because IB has limits on historical data request and we can't start all strategies properly.

We have IQFeed with historical data without limit.

We try to connect both data sources and check disable historical data on IB acc connection - but it doesn't work well.

Could we in some way connect IQFeed as a historical data feed and IB as a broker account and real time data source ?

Hello Andrew_e,
Yes, you can do it.

Make IB as your primary connection and IQFeed as your secondary connection and please ensure that in IB account connection Historical data is disabled.

• In Control Center menu bar goto Tools>Account Connections
• In the Account Connection dialog select your IB account connection and click on the Change button
• In the Connection Options dialog, click on Next
• In the General window please select the Historical Data option as "Disabled, I will use another connection as historical data"
• Click Next Next Finish.
