data file error

6/19/2012 12:26:12 AM Default IQFeed.Adapter.MessageLoopBars msg='!ENDMSG!,': The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\zabar\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\minute\FISV\20120618.Last.ntd' because it is being used by another process.

This is causing backtests to hang, my market analyzer to not refresh indicators, etc. It has happened in multiple circumstances. There is only one copy of ninjatrader.exe executing. What should I do, besides rebooting the system?

Hello zabar,

This error message indicates that another program is using the file. Make sure if you have an Anti Virus program to exclude the (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7 folder from the scan list. Also if you have another program that will scan or access files on you computer like an automatic data backup program to either disable it while using or to not run while you are using NinjaTrader.
