S&P500 list components update

Hi,

S&P500 components list is changed from time to time taking in account on some parameters from the stocks. So, I would like to confirm if the S&P 500 list on NT is automatically updated when this happens or if I need to check here in the forum some place where to get the list updated. In Tradestation I get it automatically updated so I expect the same here in NT.

Instrument lists are something which we do update automatically. These periodic updates in instrument lists are included in the periodic updates to NinjaTrader 7 which we release.

And the periodic NT update is done every time the S&P500 list is changed? Can I be sure that the list in my NT is always updated?

Hello ACP,

The periodic updates are dictated by NinjaTrader's development schedule, not necessarily by changes to the SP500. If you must ensure that the list is up to date on a day-by-day basis, the list would need to be manually managed.
