chart results showing plot executions

how do I get the back test chart results to plot executions with both text and marker?

Hello Ironplates,

It should display text and markers for the trades that occurred. Can you please select the Summary-tab in the Strategy Analyzer and subsequently select the Chart-tab. Do you see the text and markers?

pressing summary tab followed by pressing the charts tabs reveals only markers and NO TEXT.

Can you please open a regular chart and select the same period type as in your backtest. Make sure 'Plot executions' is set to TextAndMarker. Right click in the grid and select 'Set Default For XXXX Period Type'.

Subsequently perform a new backtest in a newly created Strategy Analyzer and check if you see both text and markers.

Can you please right click in the Strategy Analyzer-->Chart-tab and select Templates-->Load. Select the Default chart template and click OK. Select the Summary-tab and switch back to the Chart-tab again. Do you now see both text and markers?

Once you have the Data Series settings to your preferences, you can right click on this window and select "Set Default for period type".
