Automatic Rollover and saved data

Hello

I need to rollover a futures contract in NT7.

I've followed the instructions given in the helpfile, which btw, assumes that we have "automatic merge" enabled.

I"ve enabled mergebackadjusted, and created the new chart on the new symbol.
Now my issue, is that once i created the new chart, NT7 requests data for previous contracts of which i already have the data in my database.
The problem is that i'm using IB as broker and data provider, and that i can only fetch 1 year of data.

I'd like to keep my existing 3 years of data, but would like to have the automatic rollover, what do you suggest as a solution ?

Unfortunately you cannot change the way how NinjaTrader loads historical data. Please see the link below under 'When does NinjaTrader load historical data?' for information how NinjaTrader loads data.

If you already have historical data present in NinjaTrader, it will not reload all this data from the connected data feed.
