Options for Kinetick EOD and IB data

Hi,

I'm using NT with Kinetick for historical EOD data and IB for live (intraday) data.

Which settings should I use in Tools -> Options? (particularly thinking of Adjust for splits/dividens and Save chart data as historical - but would like optimal setting recommendation for all settings in the tools->options window)

Thank you for your note.


If you have input Splits and Dividends manually for an instrument within the Instrument Manager you would enable these options within Tools-->Options-->Data tab.

Ok, thanks. I have not input splits and dividends manually, so I will leave those checkboxes unchecked.

What about the rest of the options on that page?

Do you have any specific questions on any specific questions? You should understand each setting and enable or disable them as it pertains to your trading style and what you need.

Are you aware that in that dialog you can press F1 to bring up the help guide to the exact section here and it will give a description of each specific setting and what it does.
