Is there a difference between the data that can be imported to display on a chart and the data imported for market replay? I can obtain 1 minute data and I would like to import it for the market replay.

Yes, market replay and historical data are different. Market replay can only be downloaded from NT servers with File > Utilities > Download replay data, or by recording from a live real time stream.
