Backup Data Feed

I currently trying out NT (6 and 6.5) and had a question regards backup data feeds.

I'm using EFX as a broker and have setup eSignal as a backup data feed.

I'm using the TDFX symbols from eSignal (eg. EUR@TDFX A0-FX) which match the live prices from EFX as far as I can tell. So the old prices should blend in correctly with the live.

Am I going to have any problems with a setup like this? In this type of setup does NT try to get live data from the backup feed as well?

I would not be aware of any issue of this setup offhand. I suggest you give it a try.

I'd be interested to know how NT handles the live data when it has a backup source. Does it get live data from the second feed at all? If so under what circumstances? eg. only when the link the main link drops or after a timeout?

Btw, great product from what I've seen so far
