You mention you are using From and To dates of 6/3 and 6/6. Does it make a difference if you use 6/4 and 6/6?

Do you perhaps use multiple data series in one chart?

I need to find a reproducible scenario. Did you always have the same type of chart opened so far? Are you able to reproduce the issue in a chart with different settings, indicators, chart templates, etc?

It doesn't make any difference if I change the from and to dates.

I'm using the default template (I haven't made any changes to it) and I'm not using any indicators.

I open a new chart each time so there's only one data series.

Sorry I can't be more help but this is really maddening.

I just installed Ninja so I haven't tweaked anything really. Just downloaded data and opened the most basic chart imaginable. No templates, indicators or anything.

Sorry but I cannot reproduce it on my end, see screenshots. My PC clock is set to US MDT time zone.

Can you please send me your log and trace files. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Attn Jason, RTH-only chart when using market replay ' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

          Ok, done as requested.

Thanks so much for hanging in there with me. I really want to get this solved if possible.

Here's a screenshot of what I'm getting. You can see the white space to the left of the current day's bars.

For anybody watching this thread, Jason was helping me via email and had me uninstall the program from the control panel, re-install and erase all my user data (making a backup first of course). This did the trick and I now have no more issues.

            Thanks Jason.

              Same Problem on Multiple Computers

Basically, I want to see the gap. Therefore I only want RTH. (6:30-1:00 PST or 9:30-4:00 EST)

I have tried every setting I can think of on multiple instruments and on multiple computers. I am most interested in TF (Russell 2000 E-mini) but get the same result on ES.

The charts start at 22:00. That is not RTH. Finally, it arrives at the open at 6:30 PST and plays thought the day and then the extended hours and then the next day RTH starts playing. I cannot get just RTH and I cannot get the GAP between to RTH sessions. Please help. Thanks!

                Hello Carter56,

Can you please right click in the chart and select 'Data Series'. Set 'Session template' to US Equities RTH and click OK.

                  Thanks!

Works great! Thanks! I had tried that and it had worked once, but then I couldn’t get it to work again. On your advice I tried that again and found out it works great if you play the data straight through (and at 500x speed that’s easy to do), but if you scroll using the slider the chart does not chart properly. I should say you can scroll the slider on the first day of data but you can’t scroll it all the way to the second day of data.

I guess the reason is that the data is the ETH data and if you jump around with the slider on “Market Replay” using a RTH chart it doesn’t like it. (I assume this is just an issue with “Market Replay”…)

Thanks for the quick response! I just stumbled across your software last week and am so impressed!

                    Good to hear it works.

Yes, adjusting the slider can be sensitive - depending on how many data is loaded as per the From and To dates as well as the amount of charts and indicators you have open. I suggest to avoid adjusting the slider as much as possible. You can right click in the Market Replay control window and select 'Go to' to replay a different date/time.
