Chart workspace settings..

Whats the best way for me to move all my NT settings from my day computer to home computer. Ive just been transporting the workspace file and the default chart file under templates back and forth but things seem to be missing. Should I just be moving the config file or?

The best way to transfer your NinjaTrader settings and files from one computer to the next is to use the Backup and Restore feature in NinjaTrader.

You will want to backup NinjaTrader on your first computer, move the backup file to the new computer and restore it.

That's almost a 40meg file, to big to transport.

Please try using a service like https://wetransfer.com/ to email the file to yourself.

There's no way to just copy certain files, that's quite a cumbersome process. Works though. thx

Yes, you can just move selected files from one PC to the other. You will need to import any NinjaScript files.

You can also select what you want to have saved to the backup file with the backup feature.
