when making revisions or changes after the results of the test, to what degree do the changes take effect upon the strategy that is currently being tested?

During live trading
if I use the tools edit function and make changes to a strategy that is working live, to what degree do the changes take effect upon the strategy that is currently live?

Thank you for your post.

If you make changes to a strategy, either through the parameters or code, you will need to re-run your backtest or optimization within the Strategy Analyzer.

For live data, after editing and compiling the strategy through code or Strategy Wizard, you will need to reload the NinjaScript on your Chart for the new changes to take effect.

This can be done by selecting your Chart and pressing F5, or right clicking in the Chart --> Reload NinjaScript.
