Chart need to be open to record market replay?

I was wondering if I have the box checked to Record data for Market Replay, do I need to keep a chart open for each instrument I want to record? If not, what determines which instruments are being recorded?

Not that I have tried without a chart open, buy I think I understood here once, that having it in market analyzer also works.

Hopefully, NT support can confirm or deny.

Thank you for your post.

sledge is correct, you must have either a Market Analyzer with the instrument in it open or a chart for the instrument open.
