Exit on market close

Hello,

I have been testing a strategy created in the Strategy Wizard and have set Exit on Close to True. However, unless my understanding of the command is inaccurate, it should close out my position or positions at the end of the day, or at market close ... it doesn't. If I am incorrect in my assumption, is there a way to use the Strategy Wizard to insert such a command and if not, what is the proper syntax to accomplish same manually?

Yes, this should exit on the closing of the session. What session template are you using here? Where are you observing this behavior?

Thank you for your reply.
I believe that the error was mine. I had the E Mini SP500 chart set as a day chart to be used with end of day data. When I switched to a minute chart the "Exit on close" worked. As for template, I had it set for "use instrument settings.". Should the template be set otherwise?
