    Data is missing

    TDAmeritrade is data provider, version 7....

    A few stocks are not showing the net change data?

    Also the indices and futures are not showing any data, and none on the charts as well?

    Hello,

    What stocks are not showing the net change? Are you getting Last Price?

    Futures are not supported through the TDA connection at this time, however you should be able to get data for Indexes. Can you please clarify which indexes you are attempting to load?

      Now all of a sudden its showing after I pulled up a chart of DJIA, the stocks were MPEL & NQ. ^DJIA and SPX are not showing any data in market analyzer. SPX shows no data on chart, DJIA pulls up data on intraday up to 60min but is not showing daily for some reason.

        Hello,

        Please delete your historical Daily data for the DJIA using the instructions provided at the following page of the NinjaTrader Help Guide:

        Removing Historical Data

        Once the data has been deleted close NinjaTrader. Open the Documents\NinjaTrader7\db\cache folder. Select all files then right mouse click and select “delete.”

        Open NinjaTrader and connect to your data provider. Open an new chart.

        Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

          Same issue.

          Error on loading chart data fo "^DJIA Nyse": Error - response too short {2D}{20}{2D}{20}{2D}

          then

            Was this on the daily interval or minute? How many days of historical data are you loading?

              Yes this is when I try to load daily, 365 days.

                Hello,

                These errors are coming from TDA servers and indicates that the server you are currently connected to does not have historical data for this instrument.

                When you connect to TDA, you are assigned to a random server and we cannot control which server you connect to. You will need to disconnect and reconnect to our TDA connection to attempt to get on another server which contains the data you are requesting.

                  Are you saying to remove the tdameritrade connection in account connection setup and then readd it and it may connect to a different ameritrade server? Otherwise how do I change the server its connected to?

                    You do not need to recreate the connection.

                    You will simply need to go to File--> Disconnect and disconnect from the current server.

                    Once disconnect, please go back to File--> Connect and select your TDA connection.

                    Upon reconnecting, you will be dynamically assigned a random server.

                      So it doesn't appear there is really a solution to this. Tried to connect several different times and no hint of getting any data for DJIA and SPX. Seems strange that I can get data small stocks but not for a main index? This is not good.

                        Hello? Anyone, resolution to this? Again DJIA and SPX, getting no data in market analyzer. This can't be due to TdAmeritrade.

                          Unfortunately no resolution at this time with our current version of the TDA API.
