Custom BarsType Resetting on Each Contract Rollover

I've created a custom BarsType that depends on the values of the previous bars. Everything works fine up until a contract rollover. It appears that a new BarsType class is created for every new contract, thus the custom BarsType class is initialized and any previous values that are needed from the last bar of the previous contract are no longer available.

So the question is, how can I access these values across contracts?

Unfortunately custom bartype is beyond what we can support.
