    NinjaTrader - Kinetick connection loss freezes charts permanently

    I have NinjaTrader connected to the paid Kinetick data feed. Ninjatrader runs on my computer 24/7 with at least 6 charts with custom Indicators. Every so often the charts freeze (new data no longer updates the chart) despite it saying in the bottom right hand corner that it is connected to Kinetick.

    Below are the logs I see:

    The only way to get the charts updating again, is to Disconnect and Connect the Kinetick data feed. I follow 4 hour bars, so this is annoying because sometimes I do not notice for many hours.

    Hello dmalopsy,

    Can you please send me your log and trace files. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Attn Jason, NinjaTrader - Kinetick connection loss freezes charts permanently' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

      I have a demo acc. using NT with ZF. The problem is the same. ¿?

        Can you please do the same. Please put ''Attn Jason, NinjaTrader - Kinetick connection loss freezes charts permanently (using Zen-Fire instead)' in the subject field instead.

              Can you please send me your log and trace files manually if you cannot send them via 'Mail to Support'. You can send your email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com.

              Log and trace files can be found at the following locations. Please attach them in your email.

              C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20120529 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

              C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20120529 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

                  Hi Jason,

                  I have dispatched 'Log and trace files' from within Ninja Trader. Any help or insight you can provide with this dilemma would greatly be appreciated.

                    I have followed your instructions. I have restarted NT and problem continues. NT does not refresh data.

                      Please proceed to correspond by email to avoid confusion.
